    FOOD: For the beat experience at Yim Wah, order a bunch of smaller dishes to share with a group of people. This way you get to try a lot of different things. The flavours of Yim Wah's dishes are pretty intense so eating only one dish per person can get a bit monotonous. If you are eatin alone though, I recommend any of the noodle soups with the honey glazed pork, or the Ma Po Tofu dish.

    DRINKS: I suggest trying the ices tea/coffee mix! It may sound strange but it's so good! It's a mix of oolong tea, drip coffee and condensed milk. Try it with or without the bubbles (boba)

    I've been there once and thought I could give it another chance. Guess I'm wrong.

    Came here on a Wednesday evening, the place was fully packed mainly with chinese CU students. The menu is quite extensive and I had a hard time making a decision - but once the food came I was pleasantly surprised. Chinese students seem to go here quite frequently and even though majority of them say it is not as good as seven days - it is definitely a solid option to take. Personally, I really like their spicy aubergine and chicken soup but generally their menu seems to be a bit westernized compared to eg seven days. Therefore, also a safe option to take for those not really accustomed to the somewhat mysterious ingredients used in the Chinese kitchen

    Stock standard chinese complete with hanging bbq duck.
    Great if you want something familiar and reliable.
    Not cheap- not generous portions. Pretty average value.
    Ma-poh tofu very nice.
    Would be great for a dinner party.

    This place is VERY AUTHENTIC! I highly recommend this place especially their roasted duck, chicken and pork with rice. I have to be honest in that I have not tasted this good Chinese food even back in the US and was very surprised to find such a great place in Cambridge. The service was also quite good as the waitresses were very friendly. Just note that this restaurant does take credit card but with a 50 pence surcharge if it is below 10 pounds. We tried this place twice in one day with different dishes because it was that good. Both times, we were treated with authentic Chinese food!
